Weather conditions for driving: Europe → Türkiye route risk
Before a long road trip, weather is not just comfort: rain, strong wind, snow and heat can change the safest route, stop plan and border timing.
What to check before departure
The site uses route-weather logic to show temperature, precipitation, wind and practical driving risk by city. Open-Meteo is used as an open weather data source where available.
Weather should be checked together with border waiting times and rest stops. A low-risk weather forecast does not remove the need for regular breaks and official road information.

Use this before choosing departure time.
RainLong braking distances and reduced visibility.
WindHigh vehicles, caravans and trailers are more sensitive.
Snow/iceAustria, Slovenia, Serbia, Bulgaria and mountain routes require extra caution.
